New Two-Pronged attack tested for Tough-to-Treat bone cancer in young people

NCT ID NCT05019703

Summary

This study is testing a combination of two drugs, atezolizumab and cabozantinib, to see if they can help control advanced osteosarcoma (a type of bone cancer) in adolescents and young adults. The trial is for patients aged 12 and older whose cancer has come back or spread after standard treatments. Researchers want to see if this drug combo can help the immune system fight the cancer and slow its growth.
