Targeted attack: new method aims to starve and poison bone tumors

NCT ID NCT06562673

Summary

This study tested a new way to deliver cancer drugs directly to bone tumors (osteosarcoma) before surgery. Researchers gave a two-drug combination through a tiny tube placed in an artery feeding the tumor, along with standard chemotherapy given through a vein. The goal was to see if this targeted approach was safe and could kill more of the tumor than traditional methods.
