NCT ID NCT07587775

First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether the drug abaloparatide can improve bone quality in people with osteoporosis who need spinal fusion surgery. About 60 participants will take the drug for 3-6 months before surgery and be followed for up to 2 years to see if it reduces complications like broken bones or failed fusion. The goal is to find a better way to prepare patients for surgery and improve long-term outcomes.
