Gentle touch for baby heads: study tests osteopathy to prevent flat spots

NCT ID NCT03780920

Summary

This study tested whether gentle osteopathic treatments could prevent flat head syndrome in newborns at risk. Researchers followed 101 infants for four months, comparing those who received osteopathic sessions to those who did not. The goal was to see if early manual therapy could reduce the need for helmets or other corrections later.
