First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This small pilot study will test whether osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) focused on the legs and feet can reduce chronic low back pain and improve daily function. Twenty adults with long-term back pain will receive four OMT sessions over several weeks. Researchers will measure muscle stiffness, walking patterns, and patient-reported pain, disability, and mood to see if this approach offers relief.
