Could treating your feet ease your back pain? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07193212
Summary
This small pilot study is exploring whether osteopathic manipulation treatment (OMT), a hands-on therapy, can help adults with long-term low back pain. Twenty participants will receive four OMT sessions over about six weeks, focusing on the connective tissue system linking the back, legs, and feet. Researchers will measure changes in muscle stiffness, walking patterns, and participants' own reports of pain, disability, and mood to see if this approach shows promise for future research.
