First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study will observe 180 adults who had hand or wrist surgery with suture anchors in the past 10 years. Researchers want to see if PEEK (plastic) anchors cause more bone loss around the anchor site compared to metal or bioabsorbable anchors. They will also check if any bone loss affects patient symptoms or the need for more surgery.
