New leg pump could cut clot risk after stroke

Summary

This study tests a device called OsciPulse that gently pulses the legs to prevent dangerous blood clots in people hospitalized after a stroke. About 40 participants will either get the OsciPulse or standard compression therapy. The main goal is to see if OsciPulse lowers a clot marker in the blood more effectively.
