First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests a device called OsciPulse to see if it reduces blood clot risk better than standard leg compression in people hospitalized after a stroke. About 40 adults with leg weakness will use either the OsciPulse or standard care for up to 7 days. Researchers will measure changes in a blood marker called D-dimer and check how well patients tolerate the device.
