New implant aims to quiet sleep apnea without a mask

Summary
This study tests a small device implanted in the chest that stimulates a nerve in the neck to keep the airway open during sleep. It is for adults with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea who cannot use a CPAP mask. About 30 participants will be followed for safety and sleep improvements.
