Gentle Clean-Up: new tools battle braces glue without harming teeth
NCT ID NCT07304310
Summary
This study compared two newer, gentler methods for cleaning leftover glue off teeth after braces are removed. Researchers tested 142 patients to see which method—a two-step ultrasonic tool or a one-step polishing bur—was better at removing the glue while causing less damage to the tooth's surface, improving gum health, and reducing sensitivity one month later.
