First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tested whether ornithine aspartic acid granules work better than silymarin capsules for people with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). 237 adults with fatty liver and high liver enzymes took one of the two treatments for a period. The main goal was to see if liver fat levels (measured by a special scan) improved. The study also looked at changes in liver enzymes and quality of life.
