First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests a new type of radiation therapy for men with high-risk prostate cancer that has not spread. The new approach uses advanced imaging to deliver a higher dose of radiation directly to the main tumor while also treating the surrounding pelvic area. The goal is to see if this method is more effective and cost-efficient than standard radiation therapy over five years. The study plans to enroll 390 men.
