First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests a new preservation solution (Custodiol-N) against the standard one for keeping donated kidneys, livers, and pancreases healthy before transplant. About 362 adults receiving these organs will take part, and researchers will check organ function for 90 days after surgery. The goal is to see if the new solution reduces early complications like delayed kidney function.
