Summary

This study tests a precise type of radiation, guided by MRI, combined with standard chemotherapy for people with distal rectal cancer. The goal is to destroy the tumor and avoid major surgery to remove the rectum. About 100 participants will receive this treatment to see if it can preserve the organ and maintain quality of life.
