Summary

This study tests whether a combination of the immunotherapy drug camrelizumab and chemotherapy can shrink esophageal tumors enough to avoid surgery and keep the esophagus intact. About 283 adults with resectable esophageal squamous cell cancer will receive the treatment before any surgery is planned. The goal is to see if this approach can lead to long-term cancer control while preserving the organ.
