New pill challenges IV drip for stopping dangerous stomach bleeds

Summary
This study is testing if a new oral pill called Vonoprazan works as well as the current standard treatment—a high-dose intravenous (IV) drip—for preventing a stomach ulcer from bleeding again. It involves adults who have just had a bleeding ulcer successfully treated during a scope procedure. The goal is to see if the simpler oral treatment is just as effective at keeping the bleeding from coming back.
