Summary
This study tested whether taking an oral verapamil pill two hours before a heart artery imaging procedure (coronary angiography) could prevent painful spasms in the arm artery used for the procedure. The study involved 150 adults who were scheduled for daily coronary angiography. The goal was to see if this simple pill could reduce discomfort and help the procedure go smoothly.
