Can a pill make your flu shot last longer? scientists check back

NCT ID NCT07357467

Summary

This is a follow-up study to see if a supplement called TUDCA, taken during a flu shot, helps the vaccine's protection last longer in adults aged 60-70. About 30 people from a previous study will give one blood sample about a year after their vaccination. Researchers will measure antibody levels and immune cells to see if the supplement group has stronger, longer-lasting immunity compared to those who got a placebo.
