Summary
This study tests whether a new tablet form of oral semaglutide (called D) works as safely and effectively as the current approved version for Japanese adults with type 2 diabetes. About 264 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new or the standard tablet for around 27 weeks. The main goal is to compare changes in blood sugar levels and body weight, while monitoring side effects.
