First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study is testing two simple, non-invasive methods to detect early signs of oral cancer. Researchers will use a special microscope and a cell-collection brush on 400 adults with visible mouth lesions. The goal is to see if these tools can accurately identify precancerous changes, potentially reducing the need for surgical biopsies.
