Swallow, Don't inject? new study tests Pill-Style cancer scans
NCT ID NCT07295171
Summary
This study is testing if a cancer imaging tracer can be swallowed instead of injected for a PET scan. Researchers want to see if this oral method, used with a new, faster scanner, provides clear images and is preferred by patients. About 27 people with cancer will get two scans—one with the standard injection and one with the swallowed tracer—to compare the results.
