New patch aims to soothe painful mouth sores from cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT06276270
Summary
This study tested a new medical patch called Mucopad HA, designed to help heal painful mouth sores (oral mucositis) that develop after radiation therapy for cancer. About 50 adult patients with these sores used the patch for up to 10 weeks. Researchers measured how long it took for the sores to heal and how well the patch managed pain and improved quality of life.
