Pilot study aims to regrow hair for young survivors

Summary

This study is testing whether a pill form of minoxidil can safely help regrow hair in children and young adults who have persistent hair loss after finishing cancer treatment. It will involve about 10 participants aged 6 to 18 who completed cancer therapy at least a year ago. Researchers will measure changes in hair density and monitor side effects and quality of life.
