New pill tested for Tough-to-Treat blood cancers
NCT ID NCT03740529
Summary
This study tested a new oral medication called pirtobrutinib for people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia or other B-cell lymphomas that had stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goals were to find a safe and effective dose and to see if the drug could shrink tumors. Over 800 patients participated to help determine if this drug could be a new option for controlling these cancers.
