NCT ID NCT07453472

Summary

This study aims to find a better way to treat oral leukoplakia, which are white patches in the mouth that can sometimes turn into cancer. Researchers will compare a light-based therapy (photodynamic therapy) with a topical vitamin D cream (calcipotriol) in 166 participants. The goal is to see which treatment is more effective at shrinking or removing these patches and improving patients' quality of life.
