First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at whether endocrinologists can help diabetes patients with dry mouth, a common problem that affects eating, speaking, and quality of life. About 80 adults with diabetes and dry mouth symptoms will receive simple oral care advice, saliva substitutes, and dental referrals during their regular clinic visits. Researchers will measure changes in dry mouth severity and oral health-related quality of life to see if this approach works.
