First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study will follow 250 people with chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI) to see how well a procedure called orbital atherectomy works in real life. The procedure uses a tiny spinning device to remove hard calcium from leg arteries, helping other treatments like balloons or stents open the vessel. The goal is to improve blood flow and reduce the risk of amputation.
