New light device shows promise for stubborn diabetic foot sores

Summary
This study tested a device called OptiPulse that uses light to improve blood flow in the foot, helping heal diabetic foot ulcers. 162 adults with a non-healing ulcer received either the device plus standard wound care or standard care alone. The goal was to see if more ulcers closed completely with the device.
