NCT ID NCT07353385
First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at how to make photodynamic therapy more effective for port-wine stains, a type of birthmark. 33 children aged 3-12 received one treatment session. Researchers compared a lower-power, longer-duration light to a higher-power, shorter-duration light, keeping the total light dose the same. The goal was to see which setting cleared the stain better after 3 months.
