Summary

This study looks at whether an alert in the electronic health record can prompt primary care doctors to refer patients with blood and protein in their urine to a kidney specialist. About 1,200 adults with these high-risk signs will be included. The goal is to improve early detection and care for a type of kidney disease called glomerulonephritis.
