First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks back at 2,000 patients who had surgery for a type of pancreatic cyst called IPMN. Researchers want to understand why surgery was done and how often these cysts were linked to hidden pancreatic cancer. The goal is to help doctors better predict which cysts are dangerous and improve future surgical decisions.
