Hospital stays: a key moment to start better heart failure drugs?
NCT ID NCT05910437
Summary
This study looked at how doctors start newer heart failure medications when patients are hospitalized for a serious flare-up of their condition. Researchers followed 184 patients to see which treatments were prescribed during their stay. The goal was to understand real-world practice and see if starting these drugs in the hospital helps control the disease long-term.
