Scientists tweak cancer treatment recipe to boost powerful cell therapy
NCT ID NCT05950802
Summary
This early-stage study aims to find the best way to prepare a patient's body before they receive a powerful cell therapy called CAR-T. Researchers are testing different combinations of chemotherapy and low-dose radiation in about 40 adults with a type of aggressive lymphoma that has returned or not responded to other treatments. The goal is to see if changing this 'prep' step makes the CAR-T therapy work better and is safe for patients.
