Timing the trigger: could smaller follicles boost IVF success for older women?

NCT ID NCT06433518

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at 200 women aged 35 and older with poor ovarian reserve to find the best time to trigger ovulation during IVF. One group will get the trigger when their follicles are 13-16 mm, the other when follicles are over 17 mm. Researchers will compare how many mature eggs are retrieved and how well fertilization and pregnancy rates turn out.
