Summary

This study aims to find the best schedule for a breathing technique used during surgery to keep patients' lungs properly inflated. It will test different time intervals for the technique on 52 older adults having abdominal surgery. The goal is to reduce lung collapse during surgery and prevent breathing problems afterward, helping patients recover faster.
