NCT ID NCT07390669
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a digital tool called AsthmaOptimiser that helps doctors assess asthma control and find ways to improve treatment during a single visit. About 746 adults with asthma who have had recent flare-ups will take part. The goal is to see if the tool can identify better management options based on guidelines.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
AsthmaOptimiser-supported structured asthma review (behavioural intervention)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that a simple, guideline-based digital tool helps doctors identify better treatment options for people with uncontrolled asthma.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study without a control group, so it cannot prove the tool improves outcomes. Results may not apply to all asthma patients.
