Smart shoes step up: new gait tracker tested in seniors

Summary

This study tests a small device that attaches to a shoe to measure walking patterns in healthy adults aged 65 and older. Twenty participants will walk on a mat and climb stairs with and without the device to see how well it tracks speed and movement. The goal is to improve the device for future use in monitoring mobility and fall risk.
