Cell therapy trial offers hope for dry AMD patients

Summary
This study tests a new treatment called OpRegen for people with geographic atrophy, an advanced form of dry age-related macular degeneration that causes vision loss. About 60 participants will receive a single injection of OpRegen cells under the retina during eye surgery. The goal is to see if the procedure is safe and can help restore or protect vision.
