Do painkillers weaken cancer treatment? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT07188857

Summary

This study aims to understand if how well pain is controlled, and the use of opioid pain medications, affects how well immunotherapy works for people with advanced lung cancer. It will observe 100 adult patients who have cancer pain and are receiving immunotherapy. The goal is to gather knowledge to help guide future treatment decisions, not to test a new treatment itself.
