First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study compares over-the-counter pain relievers to opioid painkillers for managing pain after wisdom tooth removal. About 1,800 people will rate their pain and satisfaction over a week. The goal is to see if non-opioid options work just as well, which could help reduce opioid use and addiction risks.
