Summary
This study aims to improve health for people in prison by finding the best ways to expand access to proven opioid addiction medications. Researchers will test two different support strategies across 120 prisons in 12 states to help correctional systems provide these treatments more effectively. The goal is to reduce overdose deaths and improve care during and after incarceration.
