Summary

This study tested two drugs, dexmedetomidine and lidocaine, given continuously during gallbladder surgery to control pain and reduce the need for strong opioids. 64 adults having laparoscopic cholecystectomy took part. The goal was to see which drug provides better pain relief and sedation after surgery.
