Summary

This study is creating a Canada-wide registry of people who come to emergency departments after an opioid overdose. Researchers will track what treatments patients receive and look for patterns to help predict who is at highest risk of dying within 60 days. The goal is to find the best ways to treat opioid poisoning and prevent future deaths. About 7,200 patients of all ages will take part.
