Scientists probe hidden body stress from opioid painkillers
NCT ID NCT07338084
Summary
This study aims to understand how using opioid pain medications is linked to a type of body stress called oxidative stress. Researchers will observe 120 adults who are already taking opioids as part of their regular care, collecting blood samples and health information. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help guide future research on reducing potential long-term harm from opioids.
