Can pain be managed without opioids during Weight-Loss surgery?

Summary

This study tests whether avoiding opioids during weight-loss surgery can still control pain effectively. About 70 adults having sleeve gastrectomy will receive either opioid-free anesthesia (using a mix of other drugs) or standard opioid-based anesthesia. Researchers will measure pain scores and how soon patients need extra pain relief.
