Summary
This study aims to prevent chronic opioid use after surgery by testing opioid-free anesthesia during knee replacement operations. Researchers will compare patients receiving opioid-free anesthesia with non-opioid pain relief against those receiving traditional opioid-based anesthesia. The goal is to see if avoiding opioids during surgery reduces the risk of long-term opioid dependency and chronic pain.
