NCT ID NCT05752799
First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study compares two types of anesthesia during sleeve gastrectomy (weight-loss surgery) in 70 adults with obesity. One group gets standard opioid painkillers; the other gets a drug mix without opioids. Researchers will measure pain scores and how soon patients need extra pain relief. The goal is to see if avoiding opioids can still control pain effectively.
