Summary

This study from Mayo Clinic is looking at whether quitting opioids can reverse a condition called opioid-induced esophageal dysfunction, which causes trouble swallowing and chest pain. Researchers will follow 26 people who are already planning to stop taking opioids through a pain rehabilitation program. The goal is to see how many people get better after they stop using opioids.
