Summary
This study is testing whether a monthly injection for opioid addiction works as well as or better than daily pills in rural areas where access to care can be limited. It will involve 144 adults with moderate to severe opioid addiction who are willing to try treatment. Researchers will compare how well each method helps people stay off opioids over 14 weeks.
